Park fees are included in all our tour prices. For reference, Serengeti entrance fees are approximately $70–82 per person per day, and Ngorongoro Crater fees are $70 per person plus a $295 vehicle fee. Our all-inclusive pricing means no surprise costs.

The dry season (June–October) is ideal for game drives with excellent visibility. For the Great Migration river crossings in the Serengeti, visit June–August. The calving season (January–March) in the southern Serengeti is spectacular. December–February is great for Ngorongoro Crater.

The Serengeti is a vast open plain famous for the Great Migration and big cat sightings, while Ngorongoro Crater is a collapsed volcanic caldera offering dense wildlife viewing in a compact area — including black rhino. Most safaris combine both for the complete Tanzania experience.

Most visitors need a tourist visa, which can be obtained as an e-visa online or on arrival. The cost is typically $50 USD. We recommend applying for the e-visa in advance to avoid queues at the airport.

A good level of general fitness is important — regular cardio like hiking, jogging, or cycling for 3–6 months before your trip is recommended. Prior high-altitude experience is helpful but not essential. Our guides manage a gradual pace to help acclimatisation.

Altitude sickness can affect anyone regardless of fitness. Our itineraries include acclimatisation days, and our guides are trained to monitor symptoms. We follow "climb high, sleep low" principles and carry emergency oxygen. Most trekkers acclimatise well with proper pacing.
