Cancellation & Refund Policy
Clear and transparent guidelines on how we handle trip cancellations, refunds, and adjustments depending on the season of your travel.
Low Season Cancellations
Applicable only during the months of April, May, June, and November.
- More than 60 days before safari: No cancellation fee (a standard 5% administrative fee applies to cover original transaction costs).
- 36-60 days before safari: 20% cancellation charge.
- 16-35 days before safari: 40% cancellation charge.
- 4-15 days before safari: 60% cancellation charge.
- 3 days or less before safari: 100% cancellation charge (no refund).
High Season Cancellations
Applicable during the peak travel months of January-March, July-October, and December.
infoStrict No-Refund Policy
Due to extreme lodge availability constraints and strict non-refundable commitments required by partner camps during high season, no refunds are available for cancellations made during these months. We strongly urge all guests to purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
General Refund Terms
- Refunds are issued directly back to the original payment method within 90 working days of your written cancellation.
- A standard 5% administrative fee applies to all processed refunds to cover the non-refundable transaction and banking costs incurred.
- Refund requests must be formally submitted and acknowledged within 6 months of the original transaction date.
* All cancellations must be sent in writing to your dedicated Tour Manager. A cancellation is only considered effective once we issue a written response acknowledging its receipt.
