The dry seasons (July–October and January–February) offer the best wildlife viewing as animals gather around water sources. The Great Migration in the Maasai Mara peaks between July and October. The short rains (November–December) bring lush landscapes and fewer crowds at lower prices.

Pack light, neutral-coloured clothing (khaki, beige, olive), a warm fleece for early morning game drives, comfortable walking shoes, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (SPF 50+), insect repellent, binoculars, and a good camera with zoom lens. Most lodges offer laundry service.

Our mid-range safaris feature comfortable 3–4 star lodges and tented camps with en-suite bathrooms, hot water, and electricity. Meals are included (full board) with a mix of buffet and à la carte dining. It's the sweet spot between comfort and value.

Our safari prices typically include airport transfers, all transportation in 4x4 safari vehicles, full-board accommodation, park entrance fees, an English-speaking driver-guide, and bottled water. International flights, visa fees, travel insurance, tips, and personal expenses are excluded.
